Flexible Class Schedules
At West Coast College of Dental Assisting, most students are able to keep up with their social life and their current job while they are in college. Class size is small. Only 10 students to each class. We offer a condensed class schedule to maximize your learning in the shortest amount of time. You will be coming to class 2 times a week for 6 hours a day. After your 18 weeks of training, you will be ready for your new career as a dental assistant, one of the fastest growing careers in the country.
Day or Evening Classes
You can select from either day classes (which run from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm) or evening classes (from 3:30 pm to 9:30 pm). Classes include a 30-minute break, and you’ll have access to a refrigerator and microwave as well as nearby latte stands and restaurants.

ABOUT OUR CLASSES
Your College Schedule

A Typical Day in College
Your day will consist of a PowerPoint presentation, in which you’ll learn about dental anatomy and terminology. In order to proceed in your new profession. After the initial presentation, you’ll go on to the lab part of your training, which will be the biggest section of your day. Each day of class (two days a week), you’ll participate in four hours of lab demonstration and training. Here, in a dental office setting, you’ll learn from expert dental assistants one on one.

By the time you have finished your 4 ½ month training, you will be fully trained and ready to start your first job as a dental assistant. You will need to achieve an 80% on all exams in order to pass. We are committed to working with you individually so that you pass your exams and launch into your new career.

- Receive OSHA, HIPAA, Blood Borne Pathogens and HIV Certifications

Each session consists of 222 hours of class time.
Cost of Tuition
Tuition for WCCODA is $6,320.00. However, a $200.00 discount will be given to those who pay in full.
We offer a variety of traditional payment plans and accept most major credit cards.
Spouses of Military Personnel
West Coast College of Dental Assisting is excited to be able to offer funding for spouses of military personnel through MyCAA, now known as SECO.
